Roncesvalles Village is one of my favourite spots in the city. I love Roncy's neighbourhood vibe and especially love the great selection of restaurants it has to offer. The other weekend we were in the neighbourhood around the dinner hour and decided to stop for Cuban food at La Cubana.
Having dined at La Cubana many times, we know there are so many good options on the menu. We usually prefer to order the small plates to share and of course accompany all the #yummyeats with a La Cabana beer. For this dining experience we ordered:
Tropical chips and salsa
Cuban grilled corn
Bean and cheese empanada
Habanero glazed fried squid
Shortrib
Cod croquetas
Grilled coconut shrimp
Dessert is always the donuts and I highly recommend the Cuban coffee to sip along side these delectable treats.
La Cubana is also a great family option! We give our kids the chance to share what we have ordered, but they also have a good kid's menu. If you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere with the ultimate comfort food, La Cubana is a must try!
