Last year at this time, I was on a countdown to turning 40 and I desperately wanted to press the brakes on time. I wasn't ready for a new decade of my life to begin but knew that it was an inevitable passage that I needed to embrace. There was no better way to do this, than to surround myself with the people I loved most and the prettiest scenery possible.
